The Elite blends disciplined construction with timeless craftsmanship, offering a balanced sleep surface achieved through two carefully selected fillings, a single spring layer, and foundational techniques that define every Vispring built in Plymouth. This mattress prioritizes stability and consistent support, providing a refined feel that embraces the body without excessive contouring.

The sleep surface is upholstered on both sides with bonded Platinum Certified British fleece wool and cotton, a 1,350gsm layer that sits directly against the ticking. Beneath it, a second layer of blended Platinum Certified British fleece wool and cotton adds depth to the feel without introducing synthetic materials. The spring system comprises 1,716 hand-nested vanadium steel pocket springs in a King size, each individually encased in breathable calico cotton. This architecture ensures each spring responds to localised weight independently, while vanadium steel maintains its temper through years of compression and recovery. The border is upholstered with protective wool and finished with two rows of hand side-stitching to firm the perimeter and extend the usable sleep surface to the edge of the mattress. Hand-tufting with felt washers anchors the fillings at regular intervals, preventing shifting and uneven compression over time.
